LET'S JOIN HANDS AND DO GREAT THINGS FOR AFRICA

I love Africa and my country Kenya in particular. I am determined to see our beautiful land set on a trajectory of economic takeoff that will extend for decades. If no action is taken now, we will be doing an injustice to future generations, who will have to figure out how to deal with the economic instability we left behind.


Africa's problem is not lack of resources, but limited ability to overcome barriers to sustainable resource exploitation.
Outsiders/foreigners are reaping enormous benefits from own territory because we have a shortfall of processes needed to harness this rich pool of resources.

I tell you what, this continent needs people with a capacity to overcome entrenched obstacles and pave the way for sustained development. Innovators and suchlike see challenges as opportunities for advancement, hence develop new approaches to tough problems. They do not settle for obvious answers that only work on the short term.

It is important that we empower our African youth, who have fresh and innovative solutions and help them gain a competitive advantage in the global economy. The world is becoming increasingly globalized and interconnected. We shouldn't let Africa miss the chance of becoming a dominant player in the global arena.

My land has long been labelled as a third world continent, but if we develop resilience against entrenched obstacles and work towards sustainable development, we can transform it into a global power house.
