The entrenched poor governance in the nation will continue to be a challenge, unless there's structural transformation through a culture shift.
Every nation and society has structures by which it functions; political systems, educational system, economic system etc. These structures are a product of the society's culture. A lot of what we do, even the most fundamental aspects of our thought processes, is influenced by our culture.
Subconsciously, we are all products of our culture. The interaction we have with our environment produces a way of thinking in us that becomes our way of life, and that's how we are trained into a culture.
Culture shift is a result of a shift in mindsets among the people, leading to a change in practices and behaviour.
